Start unit - electronic
unit with light signal placed at the start which resets and activates the
e-card. When the e-card is lifted from the start unit the timer in the
e-card will start.

Actual lifetime varies both due to use, storage but also idividual variation from
one start unit to another regardless of actutal handling. 99% of all start units
are expected to last for more than 5 years. Start units failing later than 5 years from
date of sale are not considered legaly faulty.
